“La Rosa”

It is a portrait of me in a silhouette style, this was originally a photo of me in the backyard while the dogs playing with their ball. I loved the bright colors in the background, it represents the people that is giving me happiness. The shadow defined the darkness that I am dealing inside, it’s creepy because having thoughts of suicide and negativity is a lot to carry. Most people think it is only drama that later on it’ll go away, its not easy the way they said it. I did reach out to my own family and close friend in my previous job and in my cousin also dealing the same situation, to my childhood friend and family, it helped me sometimes to cope with the problem and forget temporarily the bad thought but, it is like a shadow that will follow you, whenever you go. I will sometimes describe it unknown depression. Painting, drawing and music helps a lot to escape in reality and ease our stress in life.
